Disposition notice

On October 13, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California adopted in full the magistrate judge's September 21, 2026 findings and recommendations, denied plaintiff Jesus Flores's motion for summary judgment, and affirmed the Commissioner of Social Security's final decision denying his application for disability benefits. Flores had sought judicial review of the denial under the Social Security Act, and the assigned magistrate judge recommended affirming the Commissioner's decision. The parties were given fourteen days to object and were warned that failure to object could waive appellate rights; no objections were filed. After conducting a de novo review under 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1), the court found the findings and recommendations supported by the record and proper analysis, directed the Clerk to enter judgment for the Commissioner, and closed the case. The order states that the underlying reasoning is contained in the findings and recommendations issued September 21, 2026 (Doc. 21).
