Disposition notice
On October 15, 2026, Judge Fernando M. Olguin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California entered an order dismissing CAD Stone Works, Inc. v. AmTrust International Underwriters, DAC, et al., No. 2:26-cv-04085-FMO-MAR, without costs and without prejudice after being advised by counsel that the action had been settled. The order gives the parties 30 days, upon good cause shown, to reopen the action if the settlement is not consummated, and states that the court retains full jurisdiction over the action. Failure to reopen or seek an extension by that deadline will be deemed consent to dismissal without prejudice, citing Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b) and Link v. Wabash R.R. Co., 370 U.S. 626 (1962).
