Disposition notice

The Court of Appeal affirmed the judgment in this criminal appeal. Appointed appellate counsel for Cody Michael Catella filed an opening brief raising no issues; counsel wrote to Catella informing him of the brief's filing and his right to file a supplemental brief, and Catella has not filed one. The court independently examined the entire record under People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436 and found no arguable issues. A jury had acquitted Catella of grand theft but convicted him of vandalism causing damages exceeding $400, and the trial court sentenced him to the low term of 16 months in county jail, to run concurrently with a sentence imposed in a separate case.
