Disposition notice

The California Court of Appeal, Second District, Division Six, affirmed the judgment in A.L.’s appeal from the juvenile court’s denial of his suppression motion under Welfare and Institutions Code section 700.1. After that denial, A.L. admitted carrying a concealed, unregistered firearm and was placed on diversion. Appointed appellate counsel filed an opening brief raising no issues under People v. Wende; on August 21, 2026, the court sent A.L. a letter advising him that he had 30 days to submit any grounds for appeal, contentions, or argument, and received no such submission. After reviewing the entire record, the court found that counsel had complied with his responsibilities and that no arguable issue existed, and affirmed the judgment. The opinion was filed October 28, 2026, and designated not for publication.
