Disposition notice
On October 15, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California entered judgment in Cirilo Galindo Cordero v. James Rios, et al., No. 5:26-cv-04010-DKW-ACCV. Pursuant to an order accepting and adopting the magistrate judge’s findings and recommendation, the court granted the petition under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 in part. Respondents must provide Cordero an individualized bond hearing before an immigration judge within seven days, at which the Government must show by clear and convincing evidence that he is a flight risk or a danger to the community. Respondents must also file a notice of compliance within seven days after the bond hearing. The one-page judgment states that it follows the order adopting the findings and recommendation; it does not itself set out the underlying reasoning.
