On October 19, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California entered judgment in Williams Alvarado Castro v. Warden, etc., et al., No. ED CV 26-5980-E. The court adjudged that the petition is granted in part and ordered respondents to release the petitioner from detention immediately, subject to reasonable conditions. The judgment was signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles F. Eick.
