Disposition notice
On November 2, 2026, Judge Fernando M. Olguin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California dismissed Marco Ruiz v. Isabelle Confections LLC, et al., No. 2:26-cv-09780-FMO-PVC, without costs and without prejudice after counsel advised the court that the action had settled. The order permits reopening upon good cause shown within 30 days if the settlement is not consummated, and states that failure to reopen or seek an extension by that deadline will be deemed consent to dismissal without prejudice. The court retained full jurisdiction over the action and stated that the order would not prejudice any party. The order cited Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b) and Link v. Wabash Railroad Co., 370 U.S. 626 (1962).
